The Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest (ELTE) and Japanese machine manufacturer JASCO Corporation have signed an agreement on pharmaceutical development whereby JASCO will use an ELTE-developed method to determine the secondary structure of enzymes, the company said.

A total of 5.15 million Hungarians older than 15, or just below 61%, regularly used the internet this summer, according to business consultancy Gemius. Its quarterly survey showed internet use in Hungary is slightly above the European Union average.
